Trump’s ‘Art Of The Deal’ Surges Up Amazon’s Bestseller List After Tariff Reversal

President Trump’s Art of the Deal skyrocketed on Amazon’s best-sellers list after Trump announced on Truth Social a 90-day tariff pause on all trading partners—except China.

The book climbed as high as number 4 on the list, making it by far the oldest title in the top 10.

The announcement of the tariff pause for most countries led to a major market rebound on Wednesday. However, the rebound was short-lived, with the market posting losses the following day.

While Trump supporters believe there is a larger strategy at play, some of the President’s critics have accused him of lacking a grand strategy, suggesting he paused the tariffs only because the bond market had crashed the day before.

Whether or not there’s a deeper plan behind the tariff decision, the administration could certainly do a better job with its messaging. They should have been clear from the beginning that the tariffs are meant for Main Street, not Wall Street—so any dips in the market shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

Anti–Wall Street messaging sells in America, and the administration should take note.
