Trump Trolls Liberals With 2028 Hat

A new hat was added to the Trump Store website that will surely drive liberals crazy—a Trump 2028 hat is now available for purchase at $50. The president’s son, Eric Trump, even posted a selfie of himself wearing the new hat on social media.

We at We Are The Right-Wing Populist view this more as trolling than a serious indication that Trump is considering a third term. It’s an effective way to poke at the liberal media and the TDS-infected Democrat Party and voters. But on a serious note, we don’t think the administration—or Trump himself—should put too much energy into this kind of trolling.

First, there are going to be people who take it seriously, including some Trump supporters, and we don’t see that as a productive use of time or energy. Second, if Trump were serious about running for a third term, we would strongly advise against it. The Constitution is clear in the 22nd Amendment: presidents can only serve two terms. Trump would be 82 in 2028, and while ending a presidency in your 80s is one thing, starting one at that age is a whole different conversation.

So yes, it’s good trolling, Mr. President—but make sure it stays just that. Then again, maybe the Trump 2028 hat is actually referring to one of his sons—Don Jr., Eric, or maybe even Ivanka. We’d personally prefer Barron, but he won’t be old enough to run in 2028.
