After Bill Maher revealed on his podcast “Club Random” he was going to meet President Trump at the White House, many people have been awaiting Trump to comment on the upcoming meeting. Today Trump gave his thoughts about it on Truth Social.

Trump compared Maher to the Democrats he claims he can never make happy, but said he thought the idea of meeting Maher could be interesting but was only doing it for a friend and otherwise wouldn’t be interested.

Bill Maher was a vicious critic during Trump’s first term, spreading misinformation about Trump constantly, such as claiming Trump was a traitor who worked for Russia. During Trump’s 2nd term however, he has moderated his partisanship dramatically, often criticizing democrats just as often as Trump.
