There May be a New (Hilarious) Democrat 2028 Frontrunner

Democrats may have a new 2028 Front-Runner for the nomination.

According to the latest Democratic primary poll from Atlas Intel, Pete Buttigieg currently has the most support among the potential contenders for the 2028 nomination.

This comes as a bit of a surprise, as Kamala Harris had been leading in the polls until recently. However, there have been reports that she may choose to run for governor of California instead of pursuing the Democratic nomination. The fact that Harris, AOC, and Buttigieg are all in the top 3, it shows the democrats may have a poor bench.

Buttigieg served as Secretary of Transportation during the Biden administration and previously ran for president in 2020. He dropped out of the race after the South Carolina primary and endorsed Joe Biden.

AtlasIntel is one of the beat pollsters in the country, so these new polling results should not necessarily be dismissed. It may be too early to take results about 2028 seriously, but the tea-leaves are non the less interesting.
