The Left’s Hypocrisy on Full Display After Milwaukee Judge’s Arrest
The crowd that clamored for two years that “no one is above the law” when former President and leading presidential candidate Donald Trump was arrested four times is now up in arms over the arrest of a Milwaukee judge.
County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan has been charged with two felonies in an ICE case for allegedly obstructing the arrest of an illegal immigrant.
The left, in response, has had an absolute meltdown, claiming this is evidence that Trump is turning the U.S. into a fascist state.
The problem is that argument is total bullshit.
- The judge likely broke the law. The details the DOJ is alleging are quite damning, as Attorney General Pam Bondi explained on Fox New "The judge learned that ICE was outside ... She goes out in the hallway, screams at the immigration officers — she's furious, visibly shaking, upset — sends them off to talk to the chief judge. She comes back in the courtroom ... takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers, takes them out a private exit and tells them to leave." If true, the arrest was totally justified.
- This is the same crowd that was completely fine with Democrat prosecutors arresting the leading presidential candidate four times in just a few months. According to them, that was totally kosher — but arresting this judge is supposedly the U.S. turning fascist?
These are not serious people.
Hopefully, the arrest of this judge — and any future arrests — sends a strong message to judges that they shouldn’t be making judicial decisions based on politics.
Instead, they should focus on enforcing and following the law through their rulings. It’s also promising that the FBI and DOJ — including Kash Patel and Pam Bondi — are seemingly finally taking action and doing what Trump was elected to do.
