Sorry Liberals, Trump Is Still As Popular As Ever
Despite the best efforts by the left and the media (but I repeat myself) according to several recent polls, President Trump remains as popular as ever. A recent Harvard-Harris poll had Trump at +2 favorable. Harvard-Harris was one of the more accurate pollsters in 2024 and even slightly favored Harris in the end. So the fact that Trump has a positive approval rating in this poll is a significant development.
In the latest JL Partners poll for the DAILY MAIL, Trump recorded his highest approval rating ever at 54%. Rasmussen, which was also one of the most accurate pollsters in 2024, has Trump back in positive territory as well, with 50% approving and 49% disapproving.
The fact that Trump is still registering overall positive approval ratings despite the media onslaught against his policies—and the controversy surrounding the deportation of an illegal immigrant from El Salvador—is pretty impressive.
With even better messaging, the administration could potentially regain the popularity it had at the beginning of the second Trump administration, and perhaps even surpass it. Having Trump surrogates like Peter Navarro appear on television networks might benefit the administration more than individuals like Howard Lutnick, who don’t seem as capable of explaining the tariff policy as Navarro.
Regardless, good news for the President that in several reliable polls, he remains popular. Sorry mainstream media & libs, you’re gonna have to try harder!
