Silence No More: Trump Restores Presidential Press Access

According to a recent report from the New York Post, President Trump has answered nearly 100 questions across his first three Cabinet meetings in his new term — approximately 20 times the number President Biden responded to throughout his entire four-year term.
The difference between Trump and Biden is stark. Estimates suggest that in his first month back in office, President Trump answered over 1,000 questions from reporters — more than seven times the number Biden did during his first month.
Biden was criticized by the media for holding fewer press conferences than prior presidents, yet he was still largely shielded from scrutiny over concerns about cognitive decline — at least until the June 27th debate, when all hell broke loose for the Democrats and Biden. At that point it became in the medias’ interest to go after Biden because he was seen as being in the way of defeating Trump.
It’s truly a shame that for four years we had an essentially senile president who struggled to answer questions from the media. Thank God that’s over, and our current President is nothing like that.
President Trump routinely takes questions from the press in the White House, the Rose Garden, and aboard Air Force One.
