SAD! Woke Snow White Movie Expected To Cause Disney A $115 Million Loss
According to a new report from DEADLINE Disney is expecting a $115 million dollar loss on its live action “Snow White” movie. The movie bomber in its 2nd weekend, only grossing 14.2 million, a 66 percent drop from its opening weeken.
This movie was almost doomed from the start, from picking an Hispanic actress to play a character whose name came from having “as white as snow”. Having that same actress also insult half the country by saying she hoped Trump and his supporters never know peace. Plus casting Gal Gadot as the villain with her very pro Israel views during a time when that’s not as popular, this movie had many challenges. Most of them self-inflicted.
Perhaps Hollywood will understand that the audience isn’t interested in race swapping a bunch of traditional white characters with minorities just for the sake of being “woke”. But probably not!
