Egg Prices Down Nearly 50% Since Trump Took Office
One of the biggest issues President Trump ran on during the ‘24 campaign was the high cost of everyday goods, pledging to reduce prices. Well it looks like when it comes to eggs, he’s coming through on that promises.
When President Trump re-took office on Jan 20 2025, the average cost of a dozen eggs was 6.55$. Today that number is 3.45$ a dozen, a nearly 50% decrease.
Inflation was likely the issue that killed the democrats chances in the last election, so if inflation continues to cool under the Trump administration, republicans could have a stronger performance in the ‘26 midterms than expected.
