"Astoundingly Bad" Democrat Donors Acknowledge The Senate Likely Not To Flip In ‘26

“There’s almost a feeling of despair and hopelessness that exists,” said veteran Democrat fundraiser in Philadelphia. That seems to be the general consensus of Democrats donors these days.

According to a recent story from CNN democrats are seemingly still in disarray. A new poll from CNN underscores this point. Only 29% of respondents had a favorable view of the democrat party.

Many donors in the party have suggested its better to focus on House or state-level races, rather than throw money into flipping the Senate, where Republicans currently hold 53 seats to 47 held by Democratic-aligned senators.

Taking back the senate seems really challenging for the democrats in ’26 with incumbents from states like New Hampshire retiring.
